He began his practice working 4 years for the State Public Defender in Sparta, managing their local office, representing indigent individuals in cases that often appeared, at the outset, to have little prospect for success. Despite often fighting with one or both hands tied behind his back, he developed a reputation, both among colleagues and clients, for consistently achieving successful results with difficult facts.
Prior to joining Matousek & Laxton, Kyle practiced at Rice, Heitman & Davis in Sparta, where he expanded his practice to include civil litigation. He is excited to use the skills and experience he gained by handling these extraordinarily difficult cases, to achieve effective results for clients throughout Western Wisconsin.
